Barbie and Ben is a member of the fields education group with great focus on child development and empowering children from a tender age to be best prepared for the world ahead, our launch region was in Klerksdorp in the KOSH area and we look ahead in impacting for change of the whole early childhood development sector. We love seeing our children shine in everything they do!
That is why we pride ourselves in giving our little learners a great environment in which they can learn, play, make friends and grow to be future leaders. With class names like "Tigers", "Cheetahs" and "Dolphins" – to name a few, we give children a sense of belonging and a place where they can immediately feel at ease by surrounding themselves with things they know.
The classes are spacious and give the children room to get drawing, playing as well as eating their lunches. Nap time is also included in the day's activities.
Our goal is to provide a warm, loving, secure and developmentally friendly environment; we provide an atmosphere that is optimal for individual cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. We are committed to working closely with parents in providing the best possible experience for their children.
All the teaching staff members of Barbie Star are fully qualified in foundation phase learning, making sure your child is ready when it’s time to go to the “Big School”. Also of importance is that in all our facilities we have a 24hr security which gives the parents a piece of mind knowing that the children are in a safe environment and well taken care of
We offer different classes for different age groups. Making sure they learn, grow, play and make friends! At Barbie and ben we have 5 classes, ranging from baby to 5 year olds. We can therefor accommodate your child and make sure that he or she gets the necessary attention they need for their age.
We supply two warm and nurturing meals during the day. One meal for breakfast and then another one in the afternoon, before the children are picked up. Snacks are also given to the children in between. We make sure that your children are provided with the best nutritional meals, to help them grow.
School Opens at:
06 : 15am - 18 : 00pm
NB: Parents that work till 17:00, may pick up their kids till 18:15, from 2022 the crèche will be launching a 24hr child centric service where we will be able to care for the little ones round the clock.
We believe that every child should have a safe and fun environment where they can grow up and learn and make friends. That is why we depend on you the parent or guardian to make sure that your child's experience at the school is one he or she can take with them and help them become the rising star that they can be
1. School fees are payable over 11 months (January – November). Entry in February or later will result in payment for December as well.
2. One calendar months’ notice should be given for cancelation of enrolment during the year.
3. Once registration fee has been paid your child will receive a school t-shirt and other regalia.
4. School t-shirts should be worn every Friday and with each event.
5. School strictly starts at 8 o’clock. All children should be at the school as first lesson starts.
6. The children must be personally handed to their teacher. NO EXCEPTIONS.
7. If someone else will fetch your child at school, the school must be informed beforehand. NO CHILD WILL LEAVE THE PREMISIS UNLESS SUCH ARRANGEMENT HAS BEEN MADE.
8. All medicine to be written in the medicine book.
9. All clothes and shoes should be marked properly.
10. NO BUBBLE-GUM OR BALLOONS AT SCHOOL. Birthday parties to be arranged with the teacher.
11. No toys allowed at school.
12. Every Friday is tuckshop – R10.00
